Get him something that he will enjoy sportswise that isn't too pricy, like the new NBA basketball or a sporting good store gift card for example. Then get a cute christmas theme picture frame and put a picture of you two in it, and that will be the sentimental gift. (They have really nice holiday frames at TJ Maxx for 4 dollars. Im sure they have them in TONS of other stores too.) Good luck, hope I helped, and happy Holidays!!!!

I do not know your budget, but music is a personal gift that can reflect a shared experience (sports event or otherwise). I sent my boyfriend a mix of music that reminded me of him and/or songs that he said he liked in casual conversation. He was not only pleased about the personalized approach of my gift, he was also flattered that many of the songs idealized the way he liked to see himself, and thus he felt empowered. If your budget allows, a pre-loaded (personalized) IPOD is really top notch! Good luck!

Neither do I, but I did enjoy the suggestion for "a nice sproty (sic) neclace (sic)."

I see...

I'd go with the suggestion for a 'modified' version of his favourite team's outfit, presented with you as the model -- dig that honesty! -- and, some goldfish in a nice aquarium. Kittens and puppies are great and very sentimental, but require far too much commitment for them to be Xmas gifts -- but fish? A couple of goldfish are relatively low-maintenance, and sentimental too. It's not a "I WANT TO MARRY YOU AND HAVE CHILDREN -- NOW!" 'sentimental' thing, but something nice that'll remind you of him, without being as dry as a magazine subscription.*

And, a pie. Bake him a pie. Everyone likes pie.

Get him tickets to a sporting event for one of his favorite teams...and show you're having a really good time...thats sentimental to a guy!! lol. Good luck.

on a serious note...the picture of the two of you idea above was good but that with tickets to a team would be a major plus!

My boyfriend is eighteen, and for Christmas i'm purely getting him a pair little issues he will like. Like a humorous blouse and a e book. yet for our one 12 months in January i'm getting him an identity bracelet, such as his call on the exterior and an engraving on the interior that asserts i respect you, or something particular like that. relies upon how severe the courting is!

Wear a uniform, modified, of his favorite sports team. Present yourself to him in said uniform. Enjoy.

Get him something in his favorite team. Like a Jersey, ice chest, glasses, throw blanket, memorabilia of his team or cooler cups. You can get all of this in his fav team...
