Babies gain the most weight in that last month - that's why some women have pregnancy/labor induced before the bay gets too big - like two weeks late can mean 2 extra pounds. At 7 months the baby is probably ..

You're in a pretty sticky situation then. Do you possibly get eggs and peanut butter on WIC where you live? They're not the best things in the world, but they will help you get some protein going in your diet. Also, right now, consider going to different soup kitchens in your area, or talk to your doctor about getting some help. They may be able to find ways of helping you out until you get back on your feet. Also, try getting a job at a fast food place- not glamorous, I know, but, it will help get some food on the table, and a little extra in your tummy for you and your child. Right now, as long as you aren't losing weight though, and your baby/tummy are measuring fine, your lil one shouldn't be in jeopardy, but if it continues like this, and you don't get the proper nutrients you need, then you could put your baby at risk. All the best to you. :)

These are averages, AVERAGES. It doesnt mean that your baby is going to be 14 pounds if your 20 week ultrasound indicated a fetal weight of 1.8 lbs. babies have growth spurts at different times during gestation, and each baby grows differently :) Theyre just rough ideas. Your doctor can indicate to you if theres an issue with the size of the baby.

7 months: 16" long and weighing about three pounds. Regular brain waves are detectable which are similar to those in adults.
