I'm having trouble getting started and I have to do the comparisons of the nucleus, nucleolus, ribosome, endoplasmic reticulum, Golgi body, cell membrane, mitochondria, chloroplast, lysosome, chromosomes, vacuoles, cytoskeleton and I have to compare them to a ant colony.

i.e. The mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell which means its like the ant workers. And that's all I can think of. Any help is appreciated.

First thing that came to mind is that all the organelles have different jobs and work together to make sure the whole cell (ant colony) runs smoothly.

I guess the nucleus would be like the queen ant, because it is the center of the cell (colony) and it carries all the DNA (which would be like ant babies?)

Other than that, look up basic definitions for each organelle and try to see how it fits.

Good luck!
