PS3 > Xbox 360?
I think the title speaks for itself. Any company that has made more than 2 systems has to have at least an idea of what gamers are looking for. I mean come-on, Sony has made 3-4 Playstation consoles, this one has to be the best. They have an idea of what their audience wants and they also have previous knowledge (or Trial + Error) of what works and what doesn't. Now that doesn't mean it is the ultimate gaming system, but it has to be pretty good to sell for $500.00 for the Core and $600.00 for the Advanced system. There are two packages you can buy it in: The Core system (20g hard drive) or the Advanced system (60g hard drive). The Xbox 360 had a 20g hard drive, which by-the-way is a lot of memory for a game system, not to mention a small computer. BUT not even does the PS3 have a 20g hard drive for its Core system it also has a 60g hard drive for its advanced. I don't know about you, but that seems to me a lot of space. Some people think that it is too much for just a game system (which is true in a sense), but it is not just a game console. Like the Xbox 360, the PS3 is a whole media center: DVD, gaming, music, pictures, and videos. Now, the Xbox 360 could connect to your (windows based) computer, but you needed to register with Microsoft, get a cable or have the wireless adaptor hooked up. This wasn't impossible, but it was a lot of extra work, most the people i know just didn't care if they had to put that mush work into it. The Ps3, however has a wireless hook up to your computer BUILT IN so that you don't need anything, and it is easy to work. It isn't guarenteed if you have certain circumstances, but it is still very cool. This feature only comes with the Advanced PS3 system I have heard, but for $100.00 more you get: 40g more space, the picture, music, video hook-up wirelessly built in to your console, and MemoryStick/Sd/CompactFlash Slots (whatever that is, lol). I think that is enough to spend just $100.00 more on the Advanced, but either way it is awesome. Even the Core system of the PS3 flat-out beats the Xbox 360 Advanced.
The ONLY DRAWBACKS are that the controllers don't vibrate. I know with some gammers that is a big deal (like me). I love the feature of vibration. This doens't make the system any less cool it just means when you get hit with that grenade in COD: 3 (my favorite game of all time better than Halo, Halo 2, and Halo 3 in my opinion, but anyway...) don't expect the controller to vibrate of the desk it was sitting on (lol, yes it has happened). Speaking of the PS3 controllers, they are the same as the PS2 execpt the R2, L2 buttons are now triggers, though they look the same. But now, which controllers were better the PS2/PS3's or the Xbox 360's? I liked the Xbox 360's controllers way more and i think they are the best controllers ever made and ever will be made. They are perfect, because they fit your hand so well. There has been some speculation that it targets the media (music, pictures, and videos) more than hard-core gamers, but i do not believe this is true. I think that Sony has put a lot of work in this one, and it shows. Another drawback is that it is $200.00 more than the Xbox 360 (Core-Core or Advanced-Advanced). There has been a shortage so don't be upset if you preordered it and didn't get it by Christmas (believe me the same thing happened with the Xbox 360). The only last thing that MIGHT be bad with it is that it MIGHT have MAYBE a LITTLE, MINOR glitches and they might cause it to freeze. None of these have been proven or even based on facts, they are merely speculation, and i mean as all game systems do, it MIGHT crash. And if it does you can send it back and get it replaced or your money back so don't worry (but make sure to get the warrantee).
Overall i think it is better than the Xbox 360, but is it worth the extra $200.00? What i mean is if you have them both for free, which one would you like more? For me it would probably be the PS3. So....my answer to the title is yes, the PS3. Read this article, and others and then make your own choice. The last thing i want to show you is the system itself. Here is a picture of the Systems (Core and Advanced) and its contense when you buy it.
(Ps the Wii won't be 2 good)

Get the Ps3! the sole reason many people have been given the 360 is with the aid of the fact it got here out first so people desperate to repeat one yet another. a million. The xBox has a foul cost fee, on suitable of the $3 hundred you ought to purchase a wifi adapter ($60) + xbox stay card in case you have chose to play online ($60 a 300 and sixty 5 days) + a battery equipment on your controller ($20). The Ps3 has each thing coated and the controllers are rechargeable. 2. Microsoft is quite grasping simply by fact while their server went down they did not provide their customers something on a similar time as Sony is giving all Ps3 customers Plus club and 2 unfastened activity downloads. 3. All stable xBox exclusives are shooting video games on a similar time as the Ps3 has God of conflict, Little vast Planet, Ratchet and Clank, ModNation Racers, Uncharted and greater! 4. The Ps3 has a blu-ray participant and the disks run with Blu-Ray meaning the photographs are greater valuable!

Actually if you put them in order from best to worst you would get this:
PS3 comes first, XBox 360 comes second and th Wii comes last.
If you take it from me, I'd say the PS3 is bassically the XBox 360 and the Wii put together.
