I have endometrosis....I had two large cysts removed this past Feburary....I refused conventional medicine because of many reasons, one being that the meds would stop my mentrual periods and so on...and that is not what I want.....I talked to an herbalist...they recommended a few herbs such as Red Clover ...is there anyone else that knows any natural and effective cures for this?.....would appreciate any advice...Thanks!

My daughter had endometriosis, and her family doctor was treating her for IBS syndrome for a year before I told her to go see her gynecologist. Its a good thing she went, because she was in so much pain, she had to have surgery, and then get shots to keep her period from starting again. Years ago, my Mom had the same problem, and back in those days, they didn't know much about it, and my Mom almost died from them not knowing what was wrong, they actually did exploratory surgery, and then had to cut out all of that which was growing all through her abdomen, and bladder and kidneys. If it is really bad, I seriously recommend a good doctor that can keep it at bay. It took my Mom 14 years to get pregnant because the doctors didn't get it all out sooner. My daughter just by waiting a whole year before she had surgery, still might not be able to have children due to the scar tissue. That is just something that I would definitely keep a check on! Take care!

There is no cure for Endometriosis, but there are things that can help and alleviate the symptoms. I recommend getting a copy of Dian Shepperson Mills' book, "Endometriosis: Healing Through Nutrition" and also contacting the Endometriosis Research Center for their free alternative therapies collection of information via www.endocenter.org. "Endometriosis: a Natural Approach" by Jo Mears is also pretty good and can be helpful in your attempt to find holistic/alternative remedies to live pain free despite the Endo. You may also want to join these groups to talk to others who understand are trying the same remedies:

Good luck.

See this webpage for a way to cure it. Sorry it is not anything you can take. You have to make improvements in your lifestyle just like when you are overweight.
