3+1<6x-2x
4<4x
x<4/4

That is the answer
Well you know the < sighn, when you solve this its same as = so dont mind that. Just solves the normal way
First thing is you should put the normal numbers and numbers with variable to one side then you just add and substract.

When you get 4<4x you have ti find the value of x
so you divdide 4 to both sides to make the X alone
so you get x<1

add -3 on both sides to get
2x < 6x-4
add -6x on both sides

-4x < -4
divide both sides by 4

- x < - 1
multiply by -1 so invert the sign(if a< b then -a > -b )

Treat the less than sign "<" as an equal sign "=" and solve for the x algebraically.

You should be getting 1 < x. Therefore, the inequality shows that it holds true as long as x is greater than 1. Try plugging in different values of x and see for yourself. =)

remember try to put alike terms on one side

subtract 2x from both sides & add 1 from both sides to get 4<4x

then divide 4 from both sides to get 1
