you just have to buy the phone but without a contract
you can't actually buy it from the store because then you have to cancel your current contract
once you get one, im sure the cingular store will transfer your number and contacts or whatever

RAZR V3 or the first one? Original RAZR should be free when you sign up with Cingular. You can go online and buy a RAZR for cheap and make sure it's Cingular compatible or get it unlocked.

I just bought a like new,good used Razr at a local independent dealer $150.............if you buy one be sure it's a cingular phone. if it's not your sims card won't work.I just sliped in the card and away I went.

DON"T GET THE RAZOR!!!!!! I bought one about 6 months ago, and they have already had to send me 4 new ones - but they arn't really new they send me re-furbished ones.. So basically you will spend $200 bucks to get a new phone for a week, it will suck, so they will send you a used one?? I am not sure what kind of warranty they think this is but the PHONE SUCKS - Oh and CINGULAR SUCKS TOO!

unless you are an international business tycoon you don't need a razr -- they aren't good phones. i have a bunch of friends that got them on contract and they hate them but can't get rid of them. it has something to do with they are better at bouncing off long distance satallites but aren't so good with close ones like you would use to call your friends. unless you live in some remote area of wyoming.

you need to buy an unlocked phone,when you buy it,you just put your sim card in it and it will work.your plan will be switched to that phone.you have to pay the whole amount for an unlocked phone but its worth it.an unlocked razr is around 250.00

well buy a razor phone phone, they should have some type of money back thing. now during black friday they should be going for cheap. check out the website they always have deals. just like verizon does. heard there is a razor going out for 40 dollars
