My parents bug me about it, constantly wanting me to act more, "girly". I don't care what other people think, never have, but I do care what my parents think. Not to mention it is REALLY hard to get a boyfriend. I don't want to disapoint my parents, but I don't want to forget myself. (trust me, there is no middle ground!)

Being a tomboy is perfectly okay. My parents nag me about it sometimes, too. They say I have too many scars or that that's not very lady-like. I listen to what they say, but it doesn't stop me from going out to play football or climbing a tree or something. Many guys appreciate an athletic girl, too. Guys enjoy a girl who can compete with them athletically, but who can throw on a dress and be the perfect lady as well. You only live once, and I'll be darned if I don't live it the way I want to, doing the things I love, enjoying being myself. Keep the jeans out and enjoy!

Well maybe you can be a tomboy in a more girly way. You know like wearing skirts or more girly stuff in your style, and also change your hobbies a little so you can do more girly stuff. And maybe that can help you with your problems, but do not change who you are completely. But just enough to be you and keep your parents happy. I hope you liked my advice!!!

seems such as you elect to be stylish yet understated. stay adapted with easy rings, classic shoe kinds, and crispiy ironed each little thing and you will sense comfortable. Tomboy does not equivalent sloppy. stay with clothing that suits precise, not too dishevelled (my great downfall), with clean strains. Lose the sweater and military jacket till you're keen to tie the sweater (pair it with an oxford shirt) and positioned on extremely-slender pants to offset the boxiness of the militia look. Tasteful rings is the substantial to looking stable yet elect not fee an arm and a leg.

Your parents aren't bein very supportive first off. Its what u want to do. I know a lot of girls hang out with guys and are comfortable just being friends. And haven't dated any1. Its just what u feel comfortable with. Being girly is hard work. Puttin on makeup and tryin to look pretty. Its just whatever u want to do.

I'm one of the guys and it's not hard for me to get a boyfriend (well I have one but before, it wasn't hard... not like you think).
It seems like guys like girls they have a lot in common with and they don't want emotional wrecks or valleygirl gold diggers as girlfriends.
Maybe your parents just want you to look decent. Maybe you dress RIDICULOUSLY boyish and they probably think you're a lesbian or something?? I have no idea. Don't do heels or make-up or any of that crap. Just find some non-baggy jeans and non-loose shirts (don't show your bellybutton).
