He'll be fine. I had a corn snake that would do this on occasion. as long as its not too big of a mouse it will make its journey through the gullet just fine.

All snakes should eat their prey head first, it just makes it more convient for them as the legs will move straight and will be more easier to slide down the throat rather than trying to eat the legs first. However, when a snake eats its prey leg first, that's okay, as long as it can eat it. But if it keeps eating like that, that's a little awkward. It could be some habit or something. My snake at first when I fed it, bit at one of the legs but he later found out it wasnt the head and then he ate the mouse head down instead of trying to wolf down the mouse forelegs first XD;

Snakes eat head-first because the head is the narrowest point of the body and it's easier to start swallowing. However a snake will eat tail-first if the prey is small enough. It's nothing to worry about.

No it will not hurt him at all so don't worry, that happened because the mouse was turned around when the snake struck it so it ate it from tail to head, what ever direction the mouse is facing when the snake strikes it will eat it that way, snakes are partially blind so it don't matter which way they eat it.

no this will not hurt your best bud. they usually eat EVERYTHING from head to tail ( if the thing has a tail) because that way if the animal is still alive the legs of this object fold back and since snakes swallow whole it goes down much easier for them. also this pervents the animal from geting away from the snake so instead of running away the animal sortof stays and runs into the mouth sortof

Of course not. Head tail, tail head doesn't matter its just the way it eats eat. It was just an accident for snake.I believe they eat them head first to make them die faster thats all. But dont feed them too much mice or thats goona be one fat snake,or probably worse!
