can you find out if a player in a game is online in a room?

I want to play a casino game but i want to see if my friend is in a room can I find out if so, how

I don't know what site you're using but any good game room shows the players as you log in..☺

only if they are on your friends list and they have checked the option allow my friends to see me in games.
