Perhaps "Chainsawisback" would have been content if you would have ask "Do you think the draft should be reinstated and women included." How petty some of us are. I will stroke you "Chainsaw" you are so smart!

I am all for reinstatement of the draft. I believe that everyone should have a legal and moral obligation to protect the government that gives them the opportunity to live a better life.

Women have fought for and won equal rights. Rights I believe they deserved. Along with equal rights should come equal obligations.

No one should be exempt except those that are mentally or physically impaired. Those that object to war can work in social service programs or National Parks.

Many in our country get a jump start at the better life by avoiding public service. Many get rich while others make it possible by serving, fighting, dying and being injured. Too many politicians that involve us in wars have escaped service in the Arm Forces and this should be stopped. The freedom all Americans enjoy should be paid for by all Americans.

Screw the draft! Conscription of all males and females of able body between the ages of 18 and 25 for a period of 2 years. All included and no "get out of service free" cards. Why should we be different from most other nations in the world. Perhaps it would give the young of our country, rich and poor, an opportunity to be part of something good as well as to learn something about their nation and the cost of freedom!

You are so ill-informed.

1. The draft is not being reinstated.
2. It is being proposed by a traitor lib who did not even vote for it when he had the chance.
3. This question should be deleted because it is completely void of fact.

I really don't think there is a point in reinstating the draft because there is no point forcing people who don't want to be there to be there.

I think in the event of a real global 'aw, ****', we may ultimately end up NEEDING a draft, in which every able-bodied man, woman, and child might get considered for military service.
Annie Oakley was a famous marksman, there's women that compete in the Olympics in marksmanship, pulling the trigger on a gun isn't THAT hard...

Lol no. They by no skill would be, a minimum of each time quickly. think of roughly it. If each and each frigging individual between the a protracted time of 18-25 (twenty something i'm uncertain with regard to the final age) without warning disappeared off to a pair conflict, properly the country could just about be empty... besides, there could be quite some squaddies if basically men have been drafted, no prefer for much greater. The question of in spite of if it is morally only continues to be available. Why ought to men be required to bypass and hazard their lives while females are not? are not females (in accordance to the feminists) only as waiting to combat as men? So why could those self same feminists oppose a girl draft? does not men combat greater valuable if that they had females with them? I dunno the solutions to those questions, only putting them available. for my area (i'm not sexist or something) i don't think of females are as in a position bodily as men... that's the way we've been designed by utilising God or evolution or in spite of. Its in our DNA, it relatively is technological know-how, its certainty. it relatively is not sexism. as quickly as for the duration of Social learn classification until now we've been speaking with regard to the concept that boys are taught to act stressful and ladies are taught to act fragile. in a roundabout way it became into who's bodily greater durable. stupid little me piped up and suggested that men ARE equipped greater durable. that's why men have testosterone and ladies have estrogen. we are made for various purposes. yet all the females in the class became horrified faces my way and there exchange into ineffective silence. One gild gasped, "whaaaaat?" as though I had suggested some relatively terrible grimy curse on her or something. that's the certainty as I submit to in thoughts it. besides, that's my little spiel. i don't think of that's a sexist point of view, so some distance as i be attentive to from discovering it that's certainty. men are made for diverse issues than females are. ok i could desire to provide up typing now lol

It won't be. The guy that has proposed it has proposed it once before and then pulled the bill before the vote. He's just getting his name in the paper.
