You can take a look at some automatic feeders at http://www.furryfeeder.com

Look at their comparison chart to see which might work best for you. Most automatic feeders are for dry food only. Not sure if you needed it for wet or dry but did want to pass this information on.

Keep in mind, even with an automatic feeder controlling when food is dispensed there is no guarantee which cat will eat it. And if the kitten is more aggressive it will certainly push the older one out of the way.

Hope this helps

Sorry, never heard of such a thing. I've heard of collars that contol access through a pet door, collars that help direct training, collars that control barking. Heard of electronically timed feeding bowls, too.
My suggestion is that you train them to feed at specific times of the day. You put the cats into separate rooms and then give them thier bowls of food. After 10 minutes, pick up the bowls and put them away or empty them out.
If you kitten is under 6 months old, it will need more frequent feedings than your adult cat. Just put kitten in a room that your cat cannot get into while the kitten is eating.

* Feeding: It is recommended that you use a good quality, dry cat food throughout the life of your cat. You can supplement this with canned food, especially when the cat is young and needs more protein for growth.

Age Feeding Frequency

Kittens: 6-12 weeks Feed four times a day

Kittens: 3-6 months Feed three times a day

Cats over 6 months Feed two times a day

As long as she does go to the bowl and eat when she is really hungry I think you should be fine. Maybe the cat isn't eating much because she is eating things outside. I would leave it in the bowl and watch her to make sure she doesn't get too skinny but otherwise don't worry about sprinkling food on the floor for her. My cat likes to pick up a mouthful of food then spit it out on the floor and eat it.

Yah! On t.v..Look on the google site.Im positive youll find something.Theres one that you put a timer on it and it just dumps food from a container based machine for you but it costs like $80 dollars. And the collar thing well there a microchip thats placed under the pets skin so if your pet runs away just go to the pet facility place that can coordinate your pets location. I bet your parents.
