However, just because you major in political science doesn't mean you need to go to law school or go into politics. In truth, the skills you'll develop as a political science major - research skills, analytic ability, writing and verbal skills - are valuable bases for many different types of careers. As with any liberal arts major, however, it is always a good idea to try to get some practical experience through internships while you are in college. There is a link on the above website that will help you figure out some possibilities.

u can be a lawyer but dont think u can do a lot with it. if u want to do alot, then become an engineer or accountant. you are guaranteed jobs anywhere in the world.
