I'm looking for a hobby that does not involve the screen such as computer or tv. I am having a hard time thinking of one so I ask what do you do on your spare time?

I enjoy taking walks. This is especially fun if you have several different locations that you can walk at - including trails where you can see many types of animals, trees, and flowers. Not only can it be interesting, it can also be good for your health, and is a great time to think and reflect upon your day. It's a great opportunity to unwind, and kill a little time while you're at it.

Go take a day trip and bring the camera with. Stop somewhere you normally would not -- and walk around, taking images of Nature, People, Sports Events, Architecture -- whatever. This is both good exercise and a nice hobby on the side.
I also read books, am right now taking Golf Lessons, play Racquetball, and just enjoy going out to cultural events too (museums, Exhibits, Lectures, etc).

I read, play with my daughter, go to the park, have a walk, sit somewhere comfy and observe people (people are interesting. I especially love people with children or old people. It touches me so when you see a loving old couple having tea together, or walking hand in hand in the park), go window shopping (not to buy things but to see what's new), play a musical instrument, make gifts (with Christmas so near, it is the perfect time) rather than buying them - friends appreciate them even more than store bought gifts. You can take up photography which is a very interesting hobby too.

Read a book or magazine.
Crochet.
Felt and sequin crafts.
My kids and husband enjoy putting together models occasionally.

bowling...flea markets...auctions....i like to go to the dirt track in the summer....i used to love to go to hockey games when i lived in a city where they played...the dog track was fun also....
