Who cares what they think? Being "girly" or "boyish" are ideas that are socially constructed. Don't worry about them and just be yourself.

I suspect a lot of people are going to think you're gay.
1. It's cool if you are.
2. If you're not, you know better, don't let their chiding get to you.
If people consider you girly, but you love who you are, it's their problem not yours. Unfortunately, that's easier said than agreed with, isn't it? Your friends aren't the nicest I've ever heard of, but you need to live without them if they're going to stop you from doing the things you love. Dance- by God, dance. Dancing is one of the greatest things we have, don't ever give it up!
Your voice will eventually break as you go through puberty- if it hasn't yet, don't sweat it. Everyone starts at a different time, although it's a little awkward if you're a late bloomer like me. Regardless of when you start, the process will take around the same amount of time, and your vocal cords will lengthen and your voice will become deeper eventually.
Short and skinny? Well if that bothers you, eat more protein- that's fish and meat, eggs, peanuts, things like that. Protein is used in the construction of body cells, so you'll beef up a bit if you do any sort of exercise. If you don't, you should consider it. And don't worry, in a few months or perhaps years, you'll have a huge growth spurt, and you might even be taller than some of your friends.
In due time, your body will mature. Until then, don't let your friends govern how you live. Enjoy life, try not to scream too much (although most girls find it adorable) and don't stop dancing!

Hi... I'm 13 too... Don't care what other people say. You're short? Even the seven dwarfs are shorties. Skinny? Many people do... Have a high voice? Or scream like a girl? You can change it but don't twist it. Laugh? Who don't? Sometimes I laugh like a duck... You dance? Do you ever watch High School Musical? Even Zac Efron dance... So... don't feel bad about yourself. Be you and don't what others say. They just making themselves a bad hats... Sorry because I'd asked too much questions... That's because it's the way I answers...

You probably just have something special and they're jealous. Don't care what other people think just be confident in who you are. What they say about you shouldn't ever define how you act. Be yourself and people who are actually worth your time will love you for it. Plus dancing is amazing. Its soo much fun and it'll keep you in great shape which will come in handy. I know of some really hot, not to mention straight, guy dancers. And that thing about your voice and height I mean how retarded?! You're 13 of course you're short with a high voice its called a lack of puberty. Don't worry you'll grow just give yourself time. Like I said just be confident being yourself and you can't go wrong. Good luck.

I'm 13 to, but I'm a girl. Although, I am a tomboy. i get ridiculed like you to, only vise versa. How about you email me advice on how to be more girly, and I'll tell you how to be less girly. Personaly, you should just be yourself, i think it's cool you take a dance class, thats something I couldn't do. Don't wory about what other people think, all that matters is what you want, and besides, when your 21 and a rich famous dancer and there working at a gas station, you can tell them off.

Don't worry about the people who say you're girly! It sounds like your body just needs to mature a bit more. Most guys have a growth spurt in high school, so all you have to do is wait it out!

Well, for me, ((a tomboy who turned preppy)) is to not say stuff like omg in every sentence. like watch what you say. The way you talk could either make ya or break ya. I'm also in dance and its great. Dance is a sport and you have to compete and work hard. If someone is nagging on you because you are girly, just ignore them. Maybe they should try it and then they will see that they love it. Hope that helped!! ((doubt it but ya no i tried)) girls in my school are preppy and no one cares.

try to hang out with more guys and don't talk like a girl try to thoughen your voice so that it's now mistaken with a girl's one!
and just be you remember that the way you are is GREAT already and if others don't like it what does it matter! Let tme bealive what ever htey want as long as you are confortable that way you are!

You don't need to comform to what people or Corperate America says altogether. They are idiots that want us all to be the same, like we came out some damned factory. You know what I say? I say, be proud, Chris Brown sings and dances, he's girly, and don't get me started on Ne-yo. Be proud, if they were your true friends they wouldn't judge you, God is the only person who's judging counts anyway. Good luck, and Live YOUR Life, let THEM live THEIRS. <333

Dude ur voice will be changing soon and so will the pitch of ur laugh. Don't give up dance if u really like it. Be true to yourself and that is all anyone can ask from u. If people don't like u for who u r then they aren't worth time.
