this question was presented to me, and i can't stop thinking about it. it can lead to some interesting debates. I think that we may be born with the nature to trust, but like anything else it has to be nurtured. Security, love, faith, trust seem to me to all be part o the human animal, whether or not those abilities within us are brought out, or are stifled by parents, friends, etc. Nothing is 100% but I think most people are born with it, sadly we lose it along the way!

No. Trust is something that must be developed in a relationship. It doesn't come naturally - hence human nature. Trust - much like friendship - is built over time.
