this question was presented to me, and i can't stop thinking about it. it can lead to some interesting debates. PLEASE read what other people say before just answering, so that a debate can occur opposed to people just answering me like I am a little student. answer it intelligently without lecturing the asker. thanks.

I think that we may be born with the nature to trust, but like anything else it has to be nurtured. Security, love, faith, trust seem to me to all be part o the human animal, whether or not those abilities within us are brought out, or are stifled by parents, friends, etc. Nothing is 100% but I think most people are born with it, sadly we lose it along the way!

No. Trust is something that must be developed in a relationship. It doesn't come naturally - hence human nature. Trust - much like friendship - is built over time.

I think that it is . I never distrust anyone until they prove to be untrustworthy .
