A prokaryotic cell is made of Carbon (50% weight) and iron (.25%). Why is such as difference in the amounts?

Well considering that most cell components are organic then it is easy to see why. Organics must contain carbon!
Fe is not present as much as it isnt needed in large quantities. Large amounts may even be poisonous!
