of course it will...one way of exercising isn't always the correct way for everyone..just make sure that you are doing the squats correctly...knees facing forward...don't squat down too far...stick your butt out behind you..lovely picture that....don't bounce, squat and hold and slowly straighten back up..watch your lower back..any stress there is a good indication to stop...shoulders down, tummy pulled in, no hunching your shoulders....and most importantly..squeeze your gluts...happy squatting!!!
