Stay around lots of people. Don't go anywhere alone with him. Don't tell him where you live. Don't lend him money or a credit card. If he is a good man those restrictions will not be a problem for him. Run away as fast as you can if he tries to make you do anything you don't want to do. Take things slowly. If he is really interested in you as a person he will be ok with that.

Yes.
Be that person that he's become comfortable with online. Once you agree on a destination and time, show up earlier than him and of course, tell a few of your friends where you will be going.
If there's one thing that people hate about finally meeting someone in person, is if that person is nothing like they've been led to believe.
Ask yourself these 2 questions: Are the pictures that you've exchanged with this man accurate? How can you truthfully represent yourself in person as you do online?
Once you answer those two questions, then relax and go meet this fella. If you're feeling uncomfortable after initial greetings then call it an early evening and head back home and continue chatting from behind your computer.
Cheers & good luck.

Be very careful and make sure you meet where there is a lot of other people around, or take someone with you when you go to meet him. Lots of people pretend to be things their not on the internet. Take care.

Always meet in a public place, and carry a cell phone. Make sure you have friends that know where you're going, and have them call your cell phone during the "date". Never be too careful. Good luck, but again, make sure it's out in public. ~~~~

I'm guessing you want an answer from everyone who participates in y/a???? Because in looking at your profile (which I did earlier when I saw this before)...I think you have well exceeded your limit in the number of times you have asked.

You are taking a big, big chance. Take a friend with you or better yet another couple. You are taking a huge risk meeting him on your own.
