I would have to go with Lebron James simply because I believe he makes everyone around him better which is the mark of a great basketball player.

Kobe is the most complete in the league. He is of course unstoppable offensively but he is also a very good one-on-one defender. He can be a team player and dominate when need be......ask Toronto about that.

LeBron James, no questions asked. He makes everyone around him better and is the best all-around player. Go LBJ!

currently i would have to say yao ming. He averged 26+ points a game, 10+ rebounds a game, and he is a great passer............ Kobe is not having a super start this year. lebron is barely 21 and is like a veteran but i wouldnt say his the best right now.

King James(right now), but when Kobe gets back to 100%, he'll regain that title again.
