How do I pass Nepto Temple (Final Fantasy 3 DS)?

I am playing FFIII, and I cannot enter the 1 eyed dragon head statue in the Nepto Temple, even though my entire party is miniturized. Is there something that I am missing?

is it possible that only 3 of your team members are affected by mini? when all four of them have the little guy next to their name in the menu, you just walk into its mouth. when you come to a point where there is two holes in the ground go to the left first. it's the wrong path, but it's really short, and has treasures.
