In the movie Rent... many of the chracters have AIDS but i didnt think Roger had AIDS until they were in the restraunt and his beeper went off.... i never caught on.... can anyone tell me if Roger has a disease in this movie or wat? (Sry about poor writing skills for this question, i really dont kno how to word it.)

He is not abusive, just still coping with the fact he has aids, and his girlfriend did too, and killed herself. Coping with loss I suppose. He just can't deal with her, or another woman in his life right then.
