The term déjà vu is French and means, literally, "already seen." Those who have experienced the feeling describe it as an overwhelming sense of familiarity with something that shouldn't be familiar at all. Say, for example, you are traveling to England for the first time. You are touring a cathedral, and suddenly it seems as if you have been in that very spot before. Or maybe you are having dinner with a group of friends, discussing some current political topic, and you have the feeling that you've already experienced this very thing -- same friends, same dinner, same topic.

It's a french expression for 'Doing it before' or the feeling that you've been here before! You might drive through a town or city that you know you have never visited in your life! And yet everything seems so familier that it's a bit scary! Or you do something, or speak to someone, and the feeling that you've done this before overcomes you. Thats deja vu!

Deja Vu is the feeling ones get when they think that they are experiencing the same situation before, scientifically it occurs when an experience is accidentally stored into your long term memory before it enters into short term thus creating the illusion of experiencing an event twice.

Deja Vu is the illusion of having previously experienced something actually being encountered for the first time.
Eg, you dreamed that you slipped on a bannana at school and then at school you actually slipped on a banana.

deja vu is kind of like when you have a dream and a couple months later your like omg ive already done this and said this, deja vu happens all the time in real life i have had it happen to me numerous times and i bet you have too its weird but yea

Deja Vu is when u feel that what u are dong at the moment...seeing at the moment...or being in a certain place at the moment...has occured at a previous time or u've been there at a previous time.
