Definately. There are plenty of other galaxies and any one of them could have a life form on them. I don`t believe in UFOs, because any life form that is intelligent enough to get here from another galaxies could take this planet over in a heartbeat. They could also leanr our language. They would either take over or at least contact us.
I don`t think they look like ET or anything else in the movies. The could look like just about anything. Bacteria on another planet would be considered an alien.
I don`t think that a good scientist or deep thinker would dismiss anything without proof that it doesn`t exsist. Anything is possible. People a few hundred years ago would think someone was crazy if they started talked about airplanes. They used to think the world was flat. People shouldn`t have a closed mind to anything that hasn`t been proven false. You never know, things we think are insane now could be common knowledge in the future.

I believe that it is extremely arrogant to think that we are the only people anywhere in this vast universe. There MUST be aliens. However, I also don't think that the moment anyone in the universe gets space travel the first thing they do is come down and do genetic testing on earthlings. What would be the point? So I believe that there are aliens- and that we have never seen them.
Having spoken to various people whove been through this, it seems like most alien abduction stories are lucid nightmares, spurred on by being half awake and thus the sleep paralysis (which prevents us from sleepwalking- most people have this) hasn't worn off yet. This would explain why most abduction stories start out with "well I was in my bed, but I realised when I woke up that I couldn't move." They're telling the truth, theyre just mistaken about how things happened.

Yes, because simple math indicates that the probability that there is NO life out there is close to zero.
Numerous people have written papers and/or books on the math and more continue to be written.
Based on recent discoveries of life on Earth, and life's ability to thrive under some astonishing conditions - the probability of life on other planets has actually increased over the past decade or two.
There is actually a high probability that life exists or existed elsewhere in our own solar system.
For a quick and easy read on the probabilities from a few decades ago try Isaac Asimov's Extraterrestrial Civilizations, great read, great math; though by today's standards its rather conservative in its estimates.

Because the universe is infinite there has to be other life out there. But keep in mind they're only "alien" to those not from the same place as them. Even we are alien to other planets.

I definitely believe in aliens. I've seen them. Not the insane Hollywood ones either. They actually came to my house and laid sod in my backyard. It was quite interesting to watch them.

I think it is very likely, considering how small our solar system is in relation to the entire galaxy. There should be at least one solar system with one planet capable of supporting life.
