I want to take advantage of Black Friday, but, I don't know what to look for. Please help me get a reliable notebook/laptop that will fit my need.

i think hp laptop or mac laptop, dells suck. seriously.

i have a dell, and i love it. i would rather have an hp cuz they are cheaper and the same quality. it all depends on what your preferences are... its like a car, some people are chevy people, others like dodge... i like dell and hp, but joe schmo might like mac... if you can go with a desktop, i heard alot of great things about emachine

i am using a mac and they work fairly good but i think a Toshiba is a lot better, my mom has one and it gets her everything that she needs. go to your local computer store they should be able to give you some ideas. Good Luck at school!!

MAC Ibook. My Ibook G4 has performed the best for me. Good luck.
