I have to assume that you are getting out of the Air Force. Make sure you get the CCAF degree, that helped me get my job.
What part of Aircraft maintenance is your experience? Do you have your Airframe & Powerplant license yet? Even if you do not do that as a career, it is helpful to show what you can do, and that you can be trained.
Zap me a message if you want.

First off Thanks for your service. If I would of stayed in I would have hit my 20 earlier this month.
If you been to the beach party Give you self some time you will need it. The first four years when i got out was the hardest in my life. You would not believe how many dumb *** you have to put up with, the military sort of screen them out and keep the whiners at bay.
That being said take a "career assessment test". That should get you going in the right direction, Did you get your A/P cert? Airframe and power plant. Also did you go to college if you could that is a big help. Aerospace seem to be doing well now but remember there is always a hatchet hanging over you head with one canceled contract or project.
Best of Luck

With you experience I would go to companies that service aircraft and see if they can offer you a position. Most major airports and even some smaller airports are the place to start looking.Being a veteran will help open doors for you and veteran support organizations can also help you find work and housing/

Try to contact Lockheed-Martin and see if they have any openings. I'm sure they would love to have someone with your experience on the parole.
