The very finest movie of all time (IMHO) is a black & white thriller from 1956 called "The Bad Seed". It starred Nancy Kelly and Patty McCormack! (Yeah, I enjoy some of the stuff others almost never see).
Don't confuse it with the recent remake which was nowhere as good as the original. If you can find it, I highly recommend viewing it. It has twists that most folk never expect. For the time period, it was way beyond almost everything else (IMHO)!
OKay the Thin Man Series was fun too, but that's another story!
Thanks for the question!

I loved the harry potter movies too! I know there is a lot of controversy over the whole thing but I thing that it actually gives kids a little hope of magic in this very busy life that we all live today. I also love GREASE and th Wizard of Oz!

Bachelor Mom - It's a hilarious old black & white romance comedy with Ginger Rogers from 1939. If you ever get the chance to see it, don't pass it up.

The Blues Brothers. It had everything -- great music, lots of famous faces, humor, tons of car chases, and even a plot!
