Zicam has always worked wonders for me. The trick is to take at soon as you start getting sick.

It works great for me. At the very first sign of a cold I use Zicam, Zinc Lozenges and Colloidal Silver (I'm doing the combo right now) and the symptoms and the cold vanish.

Yes, if you take it at the beginning of a cold, it will help shorten it, and it wont be so bad. Ive tried it a couple of times, and I highly recommend it, you just cant start taking it once your cold has gotten really bad, it works better at the beginning of a sore throat or cold. Good luck, and take lots of vitamin c as well!
