I know how my husband feels about his street bikes and three wheeler (Honrda 250R)... But he only loves me more then them because I won't ever make him choose me or them! Why do some women do that? I guess I could under stand if the guy was gonna kill himself (like 16 year old on a superbike) being a idiot racing on the streets or something. So, how do you feel about your bikes?!

Don't get me wrong I like bikes to and NO i'm not making my husband choose!
I guess I just want to understand why some girls make thier man choose them or the bike and why some guys choose the bike. I pretty much know in my head I just want to know what other people think.

For myself, I couldn't say more or less. They're different, and get different kinds of attention. You already got the better than sex answer, and the they don't do this or that answer. Bikes don't need brains to tell you when you are being an idiot, you'll know. And dogs are a different animal altogether. My dog is my companion, for her entire lifetime. She can't go get another place to live, or a job, or buy food, by herself. A commitment is a commitment, whether to a dog, or anything/anyone else. You can't break one to make another, it's just not right.

I had my dogs, and my bikes, before I met my current wife.
She almost didn't even go out with me, only becase I rode a motorcycle. We have now been married almost 7 years, and I've borrowed one bike, and bought two more in that time. And my dog is old enough that her puppies have gone grey. She never told me I had to choose, because she took me the way I am. Same as I did her.
Ranting at other answers over, I'll finish answering your question.
I love to ride. It never really mattered what, before. Now, I like to ride my Superglide. It was custom made and personalized to fit me, and rides like nothing else I've ever been on.

Well it is not love it is more or less a place or way to escape from the trouble that they have on there minds that day. I personally don't have a bike anymore but will get a new one soon and when I ride I think of only the road and bike and nothing else so I would say it is a escape.

Good day

Bikes are beautiful, fast, exciting, need care and wait patiently. When you polish and wash the bike it glows and wants to go. If it needs work it will wait until you have time and are ready work on it. When you ride and push yourself the whole world disappears to a narrow pinpoint at the end of your vision. Unlike drinking there is no headache, only the warm feeling of a fantastic job of riding or care. It's amazing

My bikes are just fun transportation. Some men get more enjoyment from their bikes than their wives, it's just that simple.

It cost less to turn on a bike than diamonds for turning on a sour woman. I don't mean all women, just some.

The bike is never too tired to go for a ride.
It doesn't criticize if you're not a very good rider
If a bike is too loose, you can tighten it
The bike doesn't complain if you ride another bike
You can share your bike with your friends
A bike feels even better when you put on two new rubbers.

Why a woman would do that is a control issue. All I can add is that I can go a whole lot longer without a woman in my life than without a motorcycle. Or a dog. And I like women.

i think they are insecure they do it as a test the men see it as a woman trying to take away there fun sothey choose the bikes idont have a bike but i do have a love affair with my corvette and i would give it away rather than see anything ever happen to my girl but if she ever told me i had to choose i would choose the corvette not making somebody choose shows trust and self esteem and creates love

I had a chopper once...and it was my pride and joy. My wife (x now) never once said anything about it...she liked that I had my bike and that I enjoyed it. If someone loves their bike more than their woman...maybe they need to reconsider....a bike can be replaced...a good woman can I guess...but if you got a good woman...why would you want to. Bikes and cars are just material things...women and men...we are people...we can't be replaced...we are all unique...bikes and cars...someone somewhere has one like it...so why do they love them more...it's a material thing...macho thing...but take it from me guys and girls....love your spouse first...your material things second.
