I think Kanye's statements show a hatred of himself. What the heck does he think he looks like? If the only way black women can be considered attractive or sexy is to be a "mutt", then the brotha's got problems within his own family. By the way, I'm not sure I've met a black person that was pure black unless they actually came from Africa. Other than that, we've all been mixed up a little along our journey, and there's nothing wrong with that!

He is a hypocrite. I used to love kanye because of his lyrical wit and his clever puns, but now he is just ruining himself. If you look at my questions asked on yahoo, you'll see that a lot of them relate to K. West. He is a hypocrite becuase he flaunts his wealth and talks about how poor people have it so bad, he is a rascist himself because of how his songs indicate that the white men hold em' down and how nixon planted cocaine in the ghetto and how bush let iraq get anthrax, he is self-righteous, he claims that screwing girls, smoking weed, basically living a decadent life is the ideal way, even though he rights (erhem i mean co-writes or got someone to ghostwrite "jesus walks") and he lets Rolling Stone magazine take a picture of him getting cruxified symbolizing that he believes he is the messiah. He's an ignorant asswipe. Also about the MTV Europe awards, and the one awards show where he threw a tantrum, he is basically being the biggest hypocrite. Christianity emphasizes humility, and in that department, kanyeasy is measly. I seriously think we should publicly condemn him as a yahoo community. He's so good at rapping and saying ****, but he's so multifaced. He needs to stick to one persona. Either be cocky, self-righteous, immoral, not humble, rap about hoes and **** or be the direct opposite and start giving a lil. As for your question, Mutt's means Mullattos. Which i believe is a mixture of French and African American descent. Essentially it means mixed, "oreo".

It means that mixed dogs are mutts. So they're calling mixed humans mutts as well due to their mixed ethnicity. I can see the relation, although it can possibly be viewed as disrespectful. He never said he called them Mutts, but he's simply saying what people have referred to them before. Apparently he believes that mixed ethnicity make up a majority of the beautiful people in the world, or atleast one's with good genes for music videos and perhaps sex appeal.

Apparently, he finds mixed races more attractive. I know that doesn't go over well with his own race either and makes it worse that it ended up in Essence.

I read this too; my interpretation of this is that basically he is saying that "mixed" girls are best for videos and "mutts" is a deragotary word for "mulatto" and apparenly his stupid friends got the same condition Kanye got

Once again, Kanye West is dead on, but its his execution that's got everyone so worked up.
If any of you would look at videos made by Black artists (of mainstream music genres), you'll see that if there's a female in the video, chances are she has a caramel complexion, long silky hair and this "perfect" body. What West is saying is that without the mixing of Blacks & Whites, or any other race and Blacks then there probably wouldn't be as many video starlets out there, seeing as they mainly use light skinned, long haired women.
Kami...when Kanye West said, "George Bush doesn't like Black people." He was dead on--Bush proved him right by doing absolutely nothing to the victims of Hurricane Katrina. What Kanye West should've said was, "George Bush doesn't like anybody!"

Bacially he's saying only light skinned girls get attention from black guys, and get in videos as the pretty dance girls. And for the most part, he's right. Most black magazines for example usually sport pretty light skinned girls with black guys all over them. And these same black guys are the first to say, "I'm keepin it real". Yeah, real hypocritical.
