Nope, I'd say your very normal. With my first I went into pre term labor atr 32 weeks. I even had drugs to stop it,I dialated to 1 but when it was time.... never dialated more then that! Even with Induction!!! Anyway your body will know when it ready, and truth be told I remember reading the baby's body actually initiates labor! So when he/she is ready... and I never thinned out really...

1st remember every pregnancy is different. And because of you being so far you may in fact need to be induced at least I was with me first child same as you my cervix was soft but no other action. I was induced baby are very unpredictable its only a guestamation of when the baby is coming the baby might have other thought is mind. Just relax you probably will be induced with in the next week or 2. good luck and congrats I hope this helped.

You may be one of those women whose labor goes from 0 to 60 in no time flat. The only other thing I can think of is that your due date could be off... Just a suggestion!

No most women don't know if they have dilated. Only if your dr checks you. You are just fine, so women don't dilate early just during labor. Nothing is wrong you are just not dialting yet. good luck

The pain your referring to could be round ligament pain, or pressure on the cervix due to the impending birth. The softening means your body is getting ready to have a baby!!! The cervix softens and thins out in preparation to deliver!! Your almost there GOOD LUCK!!!

You know you could go from nothing to full in just a few hours. I know you must be getting anxious to meet your little one but hang on momma he/she is coming soon.
