A question for black people regarding the "n" word, anybody can answer though?

I was just wondering if you get offended when spanish people use the word "*****". Not in an offensive way, but the way most African-Americans use it when talking amongst themselves.

The reason I ask is because that word has been a part of my vocabulary ever since I learned to speak english; I'm spanish btw, I grew up in NYC around blacks, and I used to like hip hop alot. I want to know if my black friends take offense when I use it. They never say anything, but I don't know sometimes.

Its weird, cause when I talk with my spanish friends its the same thing: "my *****, this" my *****, that".

When can it not be used? Can white people use it? Oh and what do you think about Kramer and all that he said?

I'm trying to phase the word out now that I'm "grown" I know the history of it, and all the negativity associate it with it. I try not to use it around "booshy" black folk, or anybody that I don't know really. But still its hard to phase it out. I've been saying ***** since I 5.

White people are the only people banned from using it. White peoople are TRYING to offend someone by saying it, while hispanics and blacks are using it as a term of endearment for lack of a better word!

Well, supposedly it's okay in the hip-hop culture, if blacks use it amongst themselves . . . but the fact is, it's not cool no matter what your race is. NO ONE should ever use that word.

in Detroit were i used to live if you used the n word you got shot and you know what its up to you to say that word but if black people hear it you might end up dead
So be careful how you use it!

I REALLY DON'T KNOW BECAUSE A LOT OF SPANISH PEOPLE THAT HANG AROUND BLACK PEOPLE USE THAT WORD AND THE BLACKS THEY HANG AROUND JUST GET USE TO IT !!

i dont know about spanish people but i know tht when a white person says it to a black person YES they get VERY PI$$ED!
