I was dating this guy once who ended up liking my bestfriend. We were bestfriends for four years. I had just hooked up with this guy and had been dating for about a month. We were in school one and I turned around to see her writing his name all over this piece of paper. I asked what she was doing and she covered it up and was like nothing. So, I turned around and didn't think anything else of it. (After all she was my bestfriend) Anyway, that night he called and actually said he didn't want to be with me he wanted my friend. I was hurt by it but I told him she would never hurt me like that. That weekend she came over to stay the night and he called again. I told him sure I'll hook you up ( not thinking she would go for it) and she actually went for it. I couldn't believe it but I just let it happen. I quit talking to her because that Monday I found out that they had actually gone on a date before that phone call he gave me telling me he liked her and not me. I didn't talk to her for like three months and I guess she told him about it. He called me and told me he was sorry for the way things ended up but there was something about her he couldn't resist and he hoped I could forgive both of them. I called her and told her what he did and she said she was sorry too. All three of us ended up being bestfriends. It's been seven years and they are still together and have a child. So, yes I got over it and I'm very happy that they got together.

My best friend and I planned a trip to Cancun. At the last minute she asked another girl whom i didn't know & turned her against me before we even got on the plane to leave. Long story short, her friend figured out that I was not the evil person my so called best friend made me out to be and she & I ended up enjoying the last 3 -4 days of the trip while my so called best friend just sat at the bar and drank the whole time. Nope, I never got over it. Very sad. She is and probably was then an alcoholic. There is nothing you or i can do to change someone else.
I hope that you have better luck than I did!

I had a best friend when I was in the 7th grade that was totally in love with my boyfriend and I had no idea. Well we eventually broke up (we were like 13) and she started dating him. I know it's stupid, but I hated her for it. We stopped talking for a few years and I saw her again about 6 months ago and we've been great friends ever since. Now we just look back and realize how young and dumb we were.

My EX GF decided that our relationship was over and started dating again, without telling me. You can imagine my surprise when her new BF came over to get her.
I started dating her best friend, who is a blabber mouth, and just messed with her till her new BF left her. That was fun!
