Why can't i pick what music i want and dont want on my iPod?

I have an iPod video its 60 gb i already tried restoring it, i re-downloaded iTunes, and i re-downloaded the setup cd for it. What can i do?

If you have the latest version of iTunes there is a setting on the Music tab to auto sync your music library or not. If you do, you can choose which playlists it will sync. If you don't, you can drag the playlists you want onto the iPod showing in iTunes.

go to preferences and turn off auto add or somethig like that
