Cyborgs would not be 'natural' a combination of human and machine...A lot of folks do not trust things that they deem unnatural- some might consider cyborgs evil for that.
The other concern may be- did the human volunteer to be implanted? If so why? Did they want to become powerful and take over the world? If they did not volunteer Yikes!! who did it to them and am I next?!!

have you seen star trek:the next generation? do you know who the borg are? that's why cyborgs are considered evil.

also, it's something people are scared of. it's something unknown to most people, and therefore must be "evil". also, it isn't a natural occurance. but what of people with mechanical prosthetic arms and/or legs? that's a step, but we don't consider that "evil". i suppose there's a fine line between what's accepted and what isn't.

i wonder, would you consider stephen hawking (the physicist) a cyborg? he has alomst no mobility at all, and yet the computer knows what to say for him. do you see what i'm saying? i guess that it's okay for the handicapped, but not the healthy.

If you had all the money in the world, would you not try and have it run your way?
If you had a body that could do things God did not originally install as hardware would you not want to do things your own way?
If you are an evil person and are given new toys, would you not use them?
