your questions and you found out that it was your ex that you haven't spoken to in years because of a bitter break up, would you try to make it work, lead him/her on for spite, or silently keep your distance?
The ex doesn't know who you are, but you have found out who they were.

That's a tough call Ridley. My head tells me that I'd run like a rabbit because it would be wiser. My heart believes in second chances however. The pros & cons must be weighed by past experiences & the character of the ex. There's a lot of factors to consider, but if I wanted to....I would proceed slowly & with great caution.

Personally, with my ex....I would back off and boogie, but there might still be something there for another couple.

Would lead him on for a good time/not out of spite really (well maybe, now that I think about it) and would pray he never found out who I am! And I wouldn't be in love with him once I realized who it is! What am I saying? Wouldn't be in love with someone on here anyway!

Well Ridley from Metroid, if your relationship with your ex didn't work the first time, then no reason to try to make it work again if you both haven't overcome the last issue that caused the break up. But I see no problem in saying hi and letting them know you found them on yahoo answers, etc. No problem in having little reunions.

Well considering I have only one serious ex, it isnt likely, considering he is in Lousiana about ready to try to get married again. But hypothetically, I would just keep going as is and "keep the distance" just answer along as though I just knew them from the internet.

Nope, I keep exes in the past. Hell, my current woman drives me insane, I wouldnt even want to think about getting back with someone I got rid of for the same reason.

If I fell in love with someone on Yahoo answers I think my boyfriend might be a little upset!

as for your first question, there's nothing wrong if you fall with somebody here...i wouldn't hold myself back from the sweet feeling of knowing him through his answers...wacky or serious...i love to be in love even unconditionally...i'm a giver and i'm happy!

as for your second question, don't be afraid to try...people change, maybe now he/she will be more open and mature to settle things even if it will mean that you'll never be reunited...leading him/her will definitely cause trouble and is very shameful if he/she finds out...keeping your distance will be the safest ground but there's nothing like peace of mind..

Do not lead them on but you could have a talk with them perhaps on the phone if nothing to see how they are. Enough time may have passed to get over a lot of the anger and bitterness.

I would lead him on in spite and then when i got tired of him i would start acting syco, and say stop sending me harassing e-mails before i call the cops, even if he sent them or not.

I'd have to say I'd be a vindictive jerk and lead him on for as long as I could, tormenting the hell out of him, using everything I know that he absolutely loves and that which drives him crazy. I'm a little bitter.
