I'm not quites sure if I understand this quote, but it seems that people do appear to have different sides within themselves. Whichever one the show in public is usually the opposite of that which they show in private. Is that what you mean? If so, I agree.

Don't believe it...most of the time when you meet someone for the first time they put on their best performance.Eventually the curtain will fall and the real show begins.

Most people put on their best "front' when being introduced to someone. It takes time being around someone to tell what they are really like.
