Most modern emission controlled automobiles are designed to run efficiently on 87 octane unleaded gasoline. The basic formula for gasoline is the same for EVERY brand. The only difference is in the dyes and additives mixed into it. Use what ever is the cheapest in your area and you car will run just fine.

Gas is gas... worry about octane...

lower end octane of 89 is worst for your engine, though it will provide well enough for your average grocery getter

Higher end of octane 92 is best and for those who have performance engines or who just want to baby their car...

Otherwise, I suggest whoever is cheapest. Afterall, I've heard that gas will never be below a dollar anymore...

Everyone sells the same gas. Only buy the higher octane if you have a new peformance car...such as a corvette and the like.

personally shell makes the best gas and texaco makes the worst

To keep it short, look for a Chevron or Shell station.
They are both Tier 1 fuels.

Chevron...or (man i really hate to mention this) Citgo. best mileage i get on regular.
