me and my friend are having a debate. is the second 'r' silent or not. is it pronounced like 'aragorn' or 'aragon'?

Actually I think you do say both Rs like the first poster said.

the r isn't silent but it's not the american sounding "r" like in grrrrrrr

it's like a japanese r which sounds like the american "d" like da da da da

so it is aaa da gorn (like korn)..
