That they were talking badly about you but they didnt mean the things they said and dont intend to do it anymore. And that they felt bad about it and wanted to tell you and apologize....What thoughts would cross your mind at this admission?....How would you feel about them afterward?..Would you still be their friend?

I guess I would be glad that they were being open and honest with me, also hurt that they would have done this to begin with, so not sure how far I would trust them in the future. I would have to let them prove themselves to me again, by letting the future take it's toll.

if i were you i would say okay you've gone to far and say I'll accept your apology and tell her/him that you want to take a walk with them and talk about more in person...cause it's better and they can see and understand your feelings more. If that doesn't work then I'll say good-bye and move on because life is all about moving on and making the right decisions!

sounds like they were fessing up to you... before someone came to you with what they were saying about you.... thats what crossed my mind whe I read your ?????

I would feel betrayed of course but it would all depend on what they were saying... you could forgive them and let it go... but let them know if it happens again... they're history... kick'em to the curb... everybody deserves a second chance but not a third.

NO WAY!!! she should have thought about it before she started mouthing around. if it wasnt major than i would be friends still but i would make her earn my trust back. but if it was something major, i mean MAJOR, than i wouldnt even want to talk to her anymore.
