Does anyone know a person that is psychic? like a telepathy "can read minds". I think I sorta could. Just so u know im NOT crazy. Cuz I tried to read a friend of mine's mind and I was like " your thinking of a island". And she said, "well, close, im thinkin of Hawaii". Another time, I was like tryin to read this person from my class 's mind and i was like tellin my friend that i think he's thinking of a bunny. And then she said, He is, he just told me something about a hare, which is almost like a bunny/rabit. and i didnt even heard him. So Do you think I'm psychic? just so you know, since i've been doing this, I haven't have alot of good memories. IT'S WEIRD! So what do you think. & plz don't be sarcastic. & im not crazy or stupid. I'm actually a normal, sorta smart girl, and preppy a bit too, lol. ttly, not really.

I believe we are all psychic, but for the majority the gift or the belief has been long knocked out of them. Educated out is another way of looking at it. Many professional psychics have grown up in a psychic friendly environment. Perhaps a grand-parent or parent with the knowledge has helped bring the extra sense out in the open and encouraged its use. But there are as many practicing psychics who have not had the benefit of caring psychic guidance and who have still managed to develop and hone this natural extra sense. The Psychic Sense.

I agree with a couple of the answers here, especially Pangel. I am certain that what we call 'psychic' abilities are a part of our make up just as much as vision, hearing, touch and so on, but that we have let them lapse over several millenia. These are 'skills' that can be focused on, and developed, if we so wish. Some people find them 'scary' and push them away .... which is fine too, each individual must choose according to their beliefs and desires. The voices could be attributable to many possible factors, and most of these are quite harmless, be careful if you think that you hear a 'voice' telling you to do anything to, or about, anyone other than yourself, that is almost always an error. If, for example, you do find that you are beginning to recognise and develop what are known as 'psychic' skills, then please try not to 'force' them on others. For example, if you think you 'know' something that another should 'know' then try and allow them to ask you in some way for your 'input' rather than rushing up and blurting it out. Some people are happier not knowing some things ! Deja vu ( French for 'already seen' ) is actually very common, most of us get some 'shade' of this from time to time, and it is quite 'normal', as above, if you feel comfortable with that feeling then let it develop, mostly by focusing on it and seeing what happens. Actually having the experience of 'going somewhere' other than the physical location in which your body is, may be what is known as an 'out of body experience', and again is actually quite common. Most people experience as some kind of 'dream', and do not internally research the phenomenom. If you want to go into this just search 'Out of Body Experience' and see where that takes you. One word for the medical 'experts' here : Schizophrenia has been under severe review by the mental health bodies for quite some time. At a recent conference in Scotland it was agreed that it was no longer 'safe' to diagnose 'schiozophrenia' as a medical condition. To explain, both 'schizophrenia' ( split personality ) and 'multiple personality disorder' are now being looked at in an entirely different light. Actually we are all 'multiple personalities', as we grow and develop from infancy we 'adopt' things that we 'like' from the people around us, usually parents, siblings, outer family members, school frinds, teachers and so on. This laugh, that stance, some facial expression, and so on. How we utilise these elements in our daily lifes is a matter for each individual, but we rarely recognise just how much of our 'persona' is just an agglomeration of bits and pieces 'borrowed' from dozens, maybe hundreds, of 'others'. It is now thought to be a process that continues from 'birth' to 'death'. So don't worry, all these armchair psycologists are probably just as 'schizophrenic' as you or me, or any of us here.

you know whats weird. I was reading this book(just a normal book) that i had just bought. Everytime i would ask myself a question about the book because I didn't understand(like what happened to that other character) in the next sentence or so it would talk about that person. It happened like 3 times. I was freaking myself out. I don't know if i'm psychic though.

Everyone has different degrees of being psychic, some more than others. Its also something that you cant turn on and off at will for most people. I sometimes know what someone will say before they say it, or I will dream of something that happens, and it actually will. Some of these dreams are good and some bad, but you cannot control your psychic ability, it just happens!

Your friend could have mentioned Hawaii, and as for the boy thinking about the hare, you said yourself "I didn't think I even heard him". Which means you could have. These examples don't indicate you're psychic. I think you'd like to be,but sorry, I don't think you are
