Eating cold, going out in the cold or bathing in cold water has nothing to do with your immune system. If you have a cold they give you hot soup because the steam clears sinus and chest congestion. Personally, I like icecream when i'm sick because it's a comfort food

no, a cold is caused by a virus. Temperature has nothing to do with catching or worsening a cold.

i wouldn't think so i used to eat ice cream and sherbert when i was sick as kid... plus they make pop sicles just for when you are sick....
