Major causes of changes in the menstrual cycle are stress and pregnacy. But, if u'v done a pregnancy test and u r sure u are not pregnant...
The other things that could disrupt ur menstrual cycle are changes in environment, change in weight and eating disorders, Hormonal contraception ,Eating disorders (anorexia, obesity, weight fluctuations, poor nutrition ,Stress ,Systemic illness (DM, hypothyroid,TB) ,STD ,Medications .

The best thing u could actually do is to see ur OB-GYN!

There is a chance that such a person suffer from an ovarian disorder.

She should get a hormonal essay done - involving a blood test - with the help of a doctor.

An ultra-sound may be required afterwards, depending on the test results to see if this person has cysts on the ovaries.

If the disrupted cycle has a hormonal imbalance or ovarian cyst behind it, it may be a good idea to see a homeopath to correct the condition - long before resorting to hormonal therapies.

Also, such persons may have to go low-carb and cut down on caffeine.

Are you stressed? Taking medication? Have you excercised or physically exhausted yourself a lot lately?

Sometimes cycles just kinda go funky and you miss a period. Unless you have reason to believe that you're pregnant or that something is wrong, I wouldn't worry too much.

You probably have been doing too much exercise..or you were too worried about your menstruation...stress can delay your period. Relax ..and if your period does not come you may be pregnant..you'll need to go to the doctor as soon as you can. Sometimes home tests don't come out positive until 2 weeks have passed since the day your period was supposed to come. Good luck!
