How do u tell if fur is fake or real ?

There's usually a tag that tells you straight up if it's real or fake.

You can also tell by the way it feels usually. Real fur is going to have a very silky, smooth texture, while fake fur is going to feel more coarse.

burn it
burnt fur smells like burned skin
fake fur smells like Styrofoam

Is it growing out of leather or fabric?
