Even though his career was a bit plagued with injuries, he still remains some one loyal to West Indies cricket and is known for standing his ground in hard times. He is the least selfish cricketer and has been with Lara and stayed wiht him in all his moments. He plays with the best interest of team at his heart. I will always support my fellow Guyanese. He is some one I admire. What about you?

I fully agree with you. He is one of the best batsman with solid technique and defence in West Indies Team. He is a perfect gentleman too.

The possessor of the crabbiest technique in world cricket, Shivnarine Chanderpaul proves there is life beyond the coaching handbook.
He never seems to play in the V, or off the front foot, but uses soft hands, canny deflections, and a whiplash pull-shot to maintain a Test average close to 40.

In cricket terms, Chanderpaul has had two main problems: first, a low conversion rate of around one hundred to every ten fifties, and secondly, his physical frailty, widely thought to be hypochondria, which he has proved is not the case.

He is ok but he can be annoying since he takes things a bit slow. He should play a bit more like gayle.
