While I do not agree with feminism's approach to everything, I do think that women should be paid equally if they are doing the same job with the same level of ability. (not so if they aren't performing at the same level though).

In the workforce, you will find men that do not believe you are capable of what they are and they will be less than cooperative if you need to work with them.

I've had guys tell me it was not genetically possible for me to be as good as them at what I do for a living. Which is ridiculous because my job is completely cerebral and doesn't require any physical strength of any kind.

It is difficult to be polite and professional when the other person is not doing the same. However, I believe you should still try to the best of your ability.

As far as the issue of single motherhood, well I have not bumped into many women who have chosen that route all by themselves. Both the man and the woman did not think through the implications of sex or truly be honest with each other about committment and their feelings towards one another. Everything tends to just be more casual now adays. But children are anything but casual and the pairing of two such contrasting things can be disastrous.

I think that the overall degredation of morals and such in society has contributed more to the damage of families. Shoot even the lack of common sense alone has caused a ton of damage.

Because some men have been so persistent on making sure that women know this is "a man's world" when actually, it is women who can do anything men can, not the other way around.
