I had an ultrasound done at 19w 2d and the technitian told me that she thought it was a boy, she suggested me not to buy anything and if I did she said I should keep all the receipts. I just had this maternal instinct that told me it was a boy, so I could just not think that it might be either so I just kept thinking it was a boy, when I was 28w I got another ultrasound done and it sure thing showed it is a boy. It is never 100%. But another ultrasound later into the pregnancy might help.

This was years ago.. Seeing as my son is 13, but the doctor's told me my son was a girl, no doubt about it... He told m it was a girl up until the day he was born. When he was born, it was an Congratulations Mrs. Bowman, It's a Gi....oops.. Boy! My other 3 children I wouldn;t let them tell me because I didn't want to plan for one and get the other again. Also, when my mom had my youngest sister, she was told it was a boy, so they planned to name her Allen and had all boy things and a football nursery. My sister was raised for the first three months in boys clothes, and a football nursery... Never trust an ultrasound unless the kid is practically spread eagle! Haha

Yup.

They told my girlfriend she was having a girl. The day before she was going to be induced they told her it was DEFINATELY a girl. Too bad she told everyone it was a girl at her shower...she had a purple flowered room and all girls clothes.

My doc told me my son was girl. But, I told him I didn't believe him. He laughed at me. And, two months later we could see it was DEFINATELY a boy. :)))

What do you think? I thought all along he was a boy. My sister thought hers was a girl (her doctor insisted it was) and she had a girl.

well, not me personally, but when my mother in law was pregnant with my husband, the doctor thought he was a girl, but this little old nurse who had worked there forever said she thought it was a boy (she'd been doing this longer than the doctor had been alive) and she was right
