Please don't use the "the alternative" excuse...We were not in office and there is absolutly no use arguing the out come of a democratic adminstration over the past 6 years. It would have come out either better or worse. We all know the out come of that argument would be decided on partisan lines.

I agree with you, not only has G. Bush made a mess out of Iraq but by doing so has made a mess out of our own country by cutting all social services and entitlements has ruined the quality of life for the average American especially in areas of education, environment, health care, security, transportation and withholding or cutting federal money for our fire fighters so that they do not have the finest and best equipment. His incompetence is endless.

I will wake up to the fact that Bush has made a royal mess of Iraq when evidence is provided that there is a definate alternative that would have worked better. Until then I will sit and wish it would be going better, but theres no way to place that blame on Bush. It is an asymetric war, a difficult war, and a type of war we have not had to face before. There is no deffinate way to say anything else would have gone better, and therefore I must resort to alternatives. Without them, nothing is bad nor good, everything is relative

Looks to me like terrorist factions are making a royal mess in Iraq. Bush has done nothing but free a few million people from a dictator. But, like you, terrorists were happier with the status quo.
