They've never had a good run defense.

I AM a Colts Fan!! I drive from Wisconsin to go to the games, sometimes leaving early on Sunday and driving back after the game on Sunday. And I love it!
They are disappointing in preseason leaving me with too many unused playoff tickets. This year, however it will be different (note the crossed fingers).
They are weak'ish' on defense. Last year probably lost the 'edge' resting too much. They are struggling a bit this year so will probably do better later in the season. How many teams make the playoffs so often. Some teams (most) are a year or two and done. Remember the Packers of the 90's, they could not get past the Cowboys. Then one year . . . they two SuperBowl appearances in a row. Go Colts!
Hate those 'flex' games, they knock me out of the games (too late since I got to get back Sundays). Guess next year I'll sell all late season games.
Go Colts!!!!!!!!

I think the Colts have three playoff problems:
1. They don't play well on the road
2. They struggle in close games
3. The defense is soft and gets exposed in the post season
In the regular season, offense gets you home-field advantage. But the teams with the better defenses win Superbowls. When the Colts can effectively stop the run, they will be a very hard team to beat in January.

No, but I'll answer anyway. (Marvin Harrison RULES).
Some argue that Peyton cracks under pressure. He did in Tennessee. He's never quite been able to finish what he starts.
Still, I think it is just a matter of time. They always seem to peak too early. I think it's bad for them to go undefeated for a long stretch during the regular season. It's very difficult to regain momentum.
I also think home field advantage throughout, and the first week bye is a BAD thing for Indy. Nothing hurts worse than trying to shake the rust off against a well-tuned opponent.
Indy will win one. Who knows, maybe it will take a new coach, like with Gruden replacing Dungy in Tampa. Just a tweak or two...

Oh yeah! I am a colts fan all right! Well, I think that in their regular season, they do fine because they aren't under a lot of pressure, but when they make it to the playoffs I think they are intimidated and get real nervous. But other than that I really don't know!

I think the colts have it good all season with the attitude they just want to get to playoffs then they think it will be easy from there. Like playing in playoffs last year with starters sitting the bench.

Because we have no defense. We never could stop the run or pass except for last year but we just were clearly unprepared. We took the Steelers too lightly. Go Colts! Hope this is our year.

yep, seem ahead to them contained in the huge one. over the pats contained in the first round of the playoffs! (surely the first around the colts play, that regularly is the 2d round technically)
