I got a game tonight and I am nervous.. we are playing a team that is good. our team is alright not to say SUCKY. i am the only good player I made all the points last time. any tips for me to stay calm and any tips for me to play better????

Each individual has different ways to get ready for a game. You have to find something you do during regular times, outside of basketball, that you enjoy. For example, some players love music and they listen to MP3s before the game, or some players love video games, so they read video game magazines before the game. But once you start stretching out, start focusing into how to make your team better. You seem to be a good player so no need to think about scoring and any of your skills since these should be second nature to you. And by focusing in making your teammates better, you will not worry as much and keep you calm.

Well just take it easy..look for open shots and open teammates who can get the ball back to you.Don't pass it to anyone who can't catch or makes bad passes everytime he touches the ball or gets it taken from him easy.Set screens too, they will get you open. If you have teammates that can catch pass it to them if they are open and cut.Calm down and dont think to much.

Sit by yourself. and visualize your moves, (shots, passes, rebounds) in your head.
when you actually get to the game you will feel fine. Then your ready to perform.

all you have to do is motivate your team teach them(of course) and don't think about the negitave trust me. i was in the same problem
